Hi,
the Ericsson Application Awards competition that run from August 2011 until May 2012 consists of Stage competitions (optional mini-challanges) and competitions run in different parts of the world, e.g. the "Apps For Africa" competitions.
So, the submission date for Stage 2 (an optional mini-challenge) is December 5.

Also, we have launched the "Apps For Africa" competitions and the submission dates for these competitions are January 31, 2012. The submissions shall include a prototype application and a demo-video. Click here and you'll find a menu to the left with details about the "Apps For Africa" competitions.
If you have registered a team then you can submit to both to Stage 2 and to "Apps For Africa" competition and double your chance to win prizes. If you have a demo-application in line with "Apps For Africa" then the submission date is January 31.
