We have been very impressed with the submissions for Stage 1 of the Ericsson Application Awards! It’s fantastic to see so many innovative ideas focused on Technology for Good. It has been a difficult task for the jury to identify the winners, but here they are:
Winner: Partech Solutions, Kenya, and their Mare Mare service, a goods-for-goods service
1st runner up: CareFactor, Sweden, and their idea of reducing food waste
Due to the overwhelming number of really excellent submissions we have received for Stage 1, we will be delaying the announcement of the winners for a few days. This is to allow the jury members more time to go through the entries in order to carefully select the winners. The winners will be announced on Friday, October 21st.
