Thanks for a great interest in our competition!
We have received close to 100 application submissions, which is all time high for the Ericsson Application Awards competition.
We have now gone through the final contributions.
The semi-finalist teams will be announced on April 5th!

Hello,
Due to the fact that we were not contacted by anyone there may have been an attempt by some of EAA judges to use our submitted application which used our staging server, which isn't manned by real dispatchers.
Thanks.
We have received a great amount of submissions this year, much more than we could dream of, that we are really happy with. But due to that do we need to postpone the announcement of the semifinalists,
News about date to come soon
Kind Regards
The EAA Team

Hello,
A question for the organizers, hoping that you record start times of all upload attempts, because TaksiProksi's upload was started before midnight 01/03/2013, but had ended after midnight (local time), thus hopefully being competition eligible.
The local time is CET (GMT +1), and since the rules didn't state any time zone, could you check the eligibility? Is the entry still competing?
PHZ.fi released today the initial version of the Coffea Chat room video communication software targeting 85y+ elderly people.
We have noticed that some teams have problems to submit the video, this is due to many teams is doing this last minute.
We suggest you upload your film on YouTube instead, but don't forget to send us the link
Kind Regards

Now that the African competition is behind us, it’s time to get ready for some big time coding! With a deadline of February 28th, our focus now turns to the global competition. New participants and participants from the Africa competition are welcome to join.
We are now in the final phase of the Ericsson Application Awards and that means our requirements just got tougher.
For the main competition, you need to submit:
1) A fully functioning application
2) A video which demonstrates your application (*)
3) A text document that explains some key points about your submission
More details about these requirements can be found here.
While our expectations are higher, we haven’t forgotten about what’s in it for you. Not only do you have a chance to win €25,000, this is also an opportunity to gain exposure within the telecom world.
Good Luck!
The EAA Team
